A special screening of animation, commercials and other ephemera from the history of game culture’s intersection with broadcast television. We invite you to bring your children and your inner-child to spend Saturday morning eating sugar cereals and watching classic cartoons inspired by your favourite video games, complete with commercial breaks, broadcast bumpers, and tips & tricks videos from direct marketing videos.
Come out to this screening and eat enough sugar cereal to keep you awake for days! Feel surges of nostalgia as you Do the Mario and watch Mario rescue Pauline from Donkey Kong’s grasp (over and over again).
While not mandatory, pillows, blankets and PJs are encouraged for that authentic nostalgic flavour!!!
