Community Partner: Dames Making Games

We’re pleased to announce that we will once again be partnering with Toronto’s Dames Making Games for Vector 2015.

Founded in 2012, DMG is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to women, non-binary, gender nonconforming, trans and queer folks interested in games. DMG hosts an number of events, including workshops, monthly speakers’ socials, game jams, and more.  We’re excited to be partnering with DMG for the third year in a row, and will be co-presenting the DMG speakers’ social for the Feb Fatale 3: Killer Interfaces game jam,  in the afternoon on Saturday, February 21st.  More info on this event can be found here.

If you identify as gendered according to DMG’s mandate, are in the Toronto area, and are interested in making or supporting DIY game creation, visit their website and see how you can get involved. It is a truly remarkable community.
